Liz Seabrook - Great Ormond Street Hospital
Flock and Liz Seabrook were so proud to have worked on this campaign for Great Ormond Street Hospital, which has been out in the wild for a few months. Liz spent several days capturing the lives of children under the care of GOSH charity, photographing the incredible treatment and support they receive from hospital staff, and also capturing precious moments at home with their families. Liz was entrusted with a wonderful brief - and these beautiful portraits reveal the care and sensitivity with which she approached the commission.
In Liz’s words, “The work this brilliant charity does is incredible. No child should be spending their childhood on a hospital ward, but sadly some do. Between the walls of the hospital you’ll find ROH ballet dancers, play experts, musicians, toys of all kinds, teachers, all putting their whole hearts into bringing joy. GOSH is a hospital that I hope no one reading this ever has to visit, but I’m so grateful exists. Five days taking photographs of very unwell children, shining so brightly is a wonderful thing to do, but it does weigh heavy on the old heart.”
Huge thanks to our amazing team and of course to all the incredible children and their families, and the GOSH staff who were involved throughout the shoot ♥️.
