Chris Floyd is a London-based portrait photographer and filmmaker with over three decades of experience shooting editorial, celebrity, music, commercial, and advertising commissions for clients across the UK and worldwide. He is represented by Flock Photographic Agency in London for photography and moving image.
A natural storyteller with a reportage sensibility and an exceptional instinct for putting people at ease, Chris is trusted by some of the most recognisable names in film, music, sport, art, and culture — as well as by global brands who return to work with him brief after brief.

Chris's portraits have appeared in Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Esquire, Wallpaper*, The New Statesman, The New York Times Magazine, and The Sunday Times Magazine. Several of his portraits have been shortlisted for the National Portrait Gallery's Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize.
His sitters include some of the most iconic figures in contemporary culture — from David Bowie, Cate Blanchett and Robert De Niro to Ai Weiwei, Damien Hirst, Naomi Watts, Rooney Mara, Bill Gates, Marcus Rashford, David Attenborough and Sleaford Mods, to name a very few. His first monograph, NOT JUST PICTURES (Reel Art Press, 2022), brings together 320 pages of portraits and the stories behind them. Chris and his photography feature in Icon: Music Through the Lens, a 6-part series on SKY Arts exploring the history and cultural impact of music photography.
