Phil Fisk is an award-winning British photographer and filmmaker.

He shoots portraits in studio and on location, as well as capturing still life and motion for entertainment, celebrity, music and editorial clients, as well as commercial advertising and healthcare campaigns for global brands.

    Over the last 20 years, Phil has photographed outstanding talent from the world of stage and screen, music and art including Mark Rylance, Ruth Wilson, Kano, Daniel Kaluuya, Emma Corrin, Brian Cox, Renee Zellweger, Joseph Quinn, Paul Mescal, Daisy Edgar Jones, Aimee Lou Wood, Phoebe Dynevor, Toby Jones, Judy Dench, Harriet Walter, Tom Burke, John Malkovich, Dua Lipa, Sleaford Mods, Neneh Cherry, Pet Shop Boys, Paul Weller, Esteem, David Byrne and David Hockney, to name just a few.

    He has shot campaigns for clients in the entertainment industry such as the Almeida Theatre, BBC, Channel 4, ENO, ITV, MTV, Paramount+, Playful Productions, National Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe and SKY, plus healthcare commissions for Salt-Thinking & DDB Remedy and financial clients such as HSBC and their investing arm HNIV.

    His stunning series of portraits for BAFTA, titled "For the Love of Film", focuses on people involved often behind the scenes in the film industry - stunt performers, animation directors, producers, cinematographers and special effects artists - sometimes photographed alongside the actors themselves - brilliantly capturing the magic of their various talents.

    Phil’s editorial clients include Guardian, Observer, The Australian, Swill and Ink Global.

    Alongside his photographic commissions, Phil has also shot on-air commercials and directed motion for social media and digital 6 sheets. His short documentary “The Grove” was shortlisted at the 2023 London Short Film Festival and shown at the ICA.

    Phil is a regular finalist in the AOP Awards, winning Gold in 2019. His portrait of Paul Weller was featured in Portrait of Britain 2021.
